Have you ever wondered why most adults will invest upwards of £500 on a high quality bed for themselves, but expect their babies to sleep on a £20 mattress.

I know this happens, because I have been guilty of it in the past. And I know I’m not alone. Just because they weigh next to nothing we seem to believe our children don’t need good support from a bed.

The fact is that babies need plenty of restful sleep to grow, and depriving them of a quality mattress is not going to achieve that.

Silentnight clearly think along the same lines, and they now have 3 fantastic babies’ mattresses in their ‘My First Little Bed’ range.

Little Lamb

This mattress features a soft quilted cover, enhanced with an Aloe Vera fragrance.

Aloe Vera has long been known for its therapeutic properties, and is a useful deterrent for dust mites.

Little Roo

Little Roo uses quilted bamboo, an anti-bacterial cover that absorbs moisture and dries out very quickly.

Unlike the foam Little Lamb mattress, the Little Roo is contains individually nested pocket springs and pure wool padding around the springs.

Little Cub

Little Cub also uses knitted bamboo and features a foam layer for a comfortable, sound sleep.

Remember, when your baby is sleeping badly, you sleep badly. Investing in a quality baby mattress from Silentnight helps everyone in your house get a better night’s sleep.
