Breeze Memory Foam Mattress Features

  • Targeted Support Zones. The Breeze is part of the Miracoil7 range, which provide 7 support zones in the mattress spring unit. These include support for the hips, shoulders and lower back (all the main pressure points of your body while you sleep). This support zone system is only available in the Miracoil 7 range of mattresses.
  • Hypoallergenic fillings. Dust mites and allergies from dust and other substances are a thing of the past with Silent Night memory foam mattresses. It has never been easier to enjoy a healthy night’s sleep.
  • No turn. Because the memory foam top on the Breeze mattress is supposed to contour to your body, turning the mattress is not necessary (or recommended, as the Miracoil 7 spring unit and memory foam layer are only designed to work on one side). Regular rotation of the mattress is however recommended.
  • Enjoy more sleep space. The Miracoil 7 spring system is designed to let you sleep right up to the edge of the mattress without collapsing or wobbling. This unique spring system and its support zones also ensure that you don’t roll into your sleeping partner during the night.
  • The Breeze is a deep mattress. It has a depth of 32cm due to the depth of the Miracoil 7 spring unit, the added memory foam layer and the soft-touch mattress cover.
  • The Silent Night Breeze memory foam mattress are available in 3FT Single, 4FT Small Double, 4FT6 Double, 5FT Kingsize and 6FT Superking.

Silent Night Memory Foam

Generally, foams tend to compress when put under pressure. Memory foam differs from normal foam in that it does deform under pressure like normal foam, but resists springing back to its normal shape immediately.

The scientific reason this phenomenon occurs is because cells in the memory foam disperse air pressure from each other. In laymens terms, memory foam reduces the amount of pressure put on the body’s pressure points.

Memory foam is also heat-sensitive which helps it to mould to your body shape while you sleep. Silent Night memory foam mattresses use a unique blend of body moulding foam, which has a quicker recovery rate than conventional memory foam, offering more stable support across the mattress.

Doesn’t memory foam cause overheating?

There is no easy answer to this question. But in many cases memory foam does cause overheating. This is most common in cheaper, low quality foams supplied in basic mattress sets.

Silent Night use Cirrus Airflow technology, which is a memory foam system that helps you maintain a comfortable temperature while you sleep. Unlike other mattresses, it uses a cell structure that allows moisture and excess heat to escape, creating what Silent Night like to call “the perfect micro-climate”.

Who should buy the Silent Night Breeze Memory Foam Mattress?

Obviously the Silentnight Breeze mattress is ideally suited to people who have slept on a memory foam mattress before and know what to expect. But for those who are new to memory foam, Silent Night is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of beds and mattresses and you can be assured of a high-quality product.

The price of the Breeze aren’t bad either, with a Kingsize mattress costing just £430.00 (price found online at bedstar.co.uk)
